Charitable Giving In Your Community
Each year, Hornbacher's partners with different organizations to help make a difference in our community and beyond. Here are just a few of the great programs and services we support.
Cherries for Charity
Annually, Hornbacher's sells cherries for charity, donating 25¢ per pound of cherries bought to benefit the YWCA Cass Clay & RACC of Fargo-Moorhead.
Check out Hunger and Feed Hope
Hornbacher's customers can make donations at checkout to help those in need. The donations will provide meals to local food banks.
Back-to-school Donations
School supplies and donations are collected at each Hornbacher's location during the fall to donate to children in need.
Root Beer Floats for United Way
Summer is the perfect time to have a cool root beer float! Hornbacher's sells root beer floats for 50¢ each during the summer and donates all proceeds to United Way.
Aisles of Smiles
Hornbacher's helps celebrate MDA's Aisles of Smiles. When customers purchase any of the participating items in the special sale, we donate a portion of the proceeds to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Guidelines
- Requests will be submitted in writing
- Preference is given to non-profits 501(c) (3): religious, educational, cultural and community groups
- Charitable giving is in partnership with various organizations to ensure community outreach
How to Submit a Written Request
The request should be printed on your organization’s letterhead (if available) and contain the following information:
- Organization name
- Event—Flyer for event if applicable
- Date of event
- Specific request
- Contact name, phone and email address
- Store location and date of pick up
